A Message From The Buffalo Police Athletic Club

Dear PAL Supporters,

The Police Athletic League of Buffalo, Inc. would like to reassure you that our immediate priority is to make sure PAL youth remain healthy and out of harms way while we continue to learn about how we can take proactive measures to prevent COVID- 19 from spreading and becoming a pandemic in our community.

We are committed to protecting the health and wellbeing of PAL youth and their family members, and want to make sure PAL coaches, teachers, mentors, volunteers, and community partners, including the Buffalo Police Department also remain healthy and safe.

We have temporarily closed our program sites and will refrain from operating PAL youth enrichment programs at City-wide Community Centers, the Buffalo Public Schools, Community Schools, and the Buffalo Olmsted Parks until we are notified that it is safe to resume our programming schedule.

We look forward to continuing to serve thousands of youth in grades K-12 from the City of Buffalo and neighboring communities with an array of enrichment programming comprised of literacy, league play, sports clinics, camps, culinary arts, nutrition, field trips, Summer Youth Internships, and Mayor Byron W. Brown’s Kid’s Summer Reading Challenge!

We are grateful to have community partners like you who are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of PAL youth, and hope you and your loved ones stay healthy and safe during this critical time.
