Buffalo Women’s Consortium: Virtual Trunk Show “BWC Shares Meaningful Gifts”

Buffalo Women’s Consortium will host their first virtual event since closing their doors due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The BWC Shares Meaningful Gifts Trunk Show will take place via Facebook on Friday, May 1st. The Trunk Show will feature several of their members selling unique handmade artisan goods including jewelry, original artwork, handpoured candles and magnesium balms to name a few.

Highlights include a virtual live performance by sitarist, Naryan Padmanabha, who will kick-off and close the event with his beautiful and relaxing music. The Trunk Show will be live on Facebook and can be watched from the privacy of everyone’s home by following the event link here.

Buffalo Women’s Consortium (BWC) was founded by Jennifer Stockman and Holly Metz Doyle, two artisans who recognized a need in Western New York to unite, promote, and inspire women makers and creators to find their passion to realize their purpose.

The BWC Member Showroom & Gallery opened this February on the first floor of the Market Arcade. It is here that their growing number of members’ works are on display and for sale year round.

BWC believes scientifically and spiritually that when human beings are supported and encouraged to pursue their passion, not only do they themselves benefit, but the collective community benefits as well. More information can be found on their Facebook and Instagram pages, and on their website, www.buffalowomensconsortium.org.
