Message from Town Ballroom

See below for a message from the Town Ballroom:

To our patrons and friends,

We are reaching out hoping to find you doing well in these strange and uncharted times.

We know live music is something important to you. We think that you – like us – are hoping to get back to seeing your favorite artists and discovering new ones once we get through this epidemic. Right now we are asking for your support of independent venues, including Town Ballroom.

Have you seen today’s article about independent venues in the New York Times?

Small Clubs Are Where Rock History Is Made. How Many Will Survive?

We are asking you please contact your Senators and Representatives TODAY and let them know you support locally owned and operated venues.

Take Action — NIVA

When this crisis began: Town Ballroom was the first music venue to close locally and we did so voluntarily for the safety of our fans. We fully understand and accept that all live music and entertainment venues will be in the very last phase to re-open.

It’s going to be a long, ongoing struggle and we worry about our staff, the touring crews and artists we work with who help create the great events we have. We are hoping to insure that we can all get back to doing what we love.

We have joined the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) – a group of more than 1,200 independent music venues and promoters in all 50 states – to collectively urge Congress to help protect our industry by providing the support that is necessary for us to survive the shutdown during this epidemic.

We will get through this but we do need your help. Please join us and support our cause by calling and writing our Senators and Representatives today.
