Shared Mobility Public Electric Micromobility Demonstration

On Tuesday, September 22nd from 8a to 4p, Shared Mobility Inc. will be holding a public electric micromobility demonstration event at Cathedral Park in Downtown Buffalo. The event is an opportunity for members of the public to test ride electric pedal assist bicycles and electric scooters. This event is part of SMI’s NYSERDA supported initiative to inform policy making on these devices throughout communities in New York State. Surveying of event participants will help guide New York’s transportation future.

Although participants are encouraged to bring their own, helmets will be provided and required. A member of the project team will escort participants on their ride once they are confident with their ability. Masks will be required of everyone, as will social distancing requirements. Hand sanitizer will be provided with each e-bike and e-scooter. All participants must be at least 18 years old. For more information, click here.
