Alleyway Theatre’s 42nd Season

A message from our friends at Alleyway Theatre:

“Fresh off the heels of its record-breaking sold-out run of the outdoor/storefront Buffalo Quickies, Alleyway Theatre announces its 42^nd season to begin September 9, 2021. Four productions make up the subscription series, with an additional two special events.

It will be the first in-person season under the leadership of new Artistic Director Chris J Handley, who begins his second year this summer. “We spent fifteen months creating virtual theatre while working from home, and we were proud to have put to work over 100 local artists during the pandemic, sharing the digital season with Broadway stars like Tony-nominees Mary Testa and Elizabeth Stanley. Now, we’re looking forward to continuing the momentum of our storefront production of Buffalo Quickies with this great season of plays,” Handley said. “It’s so exciting. Audiences have been at home for so long, and we’re just thrilled to open our doors to the community and show off all the things we’ve been working on. I promise this whole season is something you won’t want to miss.”
