Alleyway Theatre’s 43rd Season of New Plays

Alleyway Theatre’s 2022-23 season includes three world premiere plays and a brand-new musical comedy, continuing their commitment to bringing some of the best new plays and playwrights to WNY.

– The Magnolia Ballet opens September 9, 2022
– Burst opens October 21, 2022
– The Alphen Complex opens February 10, 2023
– Kragtar! The American Monster Musical opens April 21, 2023

Alleyway is also celebrating the 40th annual production of A Christmas Carol and the third installment of the adults-only Golden Girls: The Lost Episodes. The company’s long-running short play festival, BUFFALO QUICKIES, will reinvent itself again this year as local playwrights, directors, and performers will have just one week to write, rehearse, design, and perform totally original new plays and musicals.

Last season, Alleyway reconfigured its small cabaret space at the Main Street side of the building. Now a true cabaret, it features seating for 50 at cabaret and high top tables and will feature monthly music and comedy acts.
