Starring Buffalo Presents: Sister Act

Starring Buffalo returns with Sister Act, the hilarious musical based on the hit 1992 film of the same name starring Whoopi Goldberg. Artistic Director Drew Fornarola, has assembled an all star cast led by American Idol finalist Alyssa Wray as Deloris Van Cartier and Tony-Award Nominee Sidney DuPont (Paradise Square, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical) as Eddie Souther. They’ll perform with Buffalo area stars George L. Brown (Once On This Island) as Curtis, Jenn Stafford (Four-time Artie Award-Winner) as Mother Superior, alongside Anne DeFazio, Alejandro Gómez, Daniel Lendzian, Timiyah Love, Steven Maiseke, Katy Miner and Davida Evette Tolbert. They will be joined by choirs from City Honors High School, Jamestown High School, and Sacred Heart Academy.

Sister Act’s infectious gospel score and feel-good comedy are perfect for the whole family! Founded in 2017, Starring Buffalo’s mission is to build an artistic bridge between Buffalo and Broadway. Starring Buffalo shows offer access to Broadway’s greatest performers which have previously featured Tony-Award winners, Matt Doyle and Lena Hall.
