Freedom to Read Week: September 22-28
09.19.24
This month, the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library is celebrating the Freedom to Read for everyone in our community; standing against book bans and their impacts on readers of any age. There will have a variety of ways to be involved in the coming weeks.
Visit the Library’s website to learn more about Freedom to Read, including events.
Freedom to Read Week includes a special collaboration with Oxford Pennant, an installation in the Central Library’s Reading Park, Winds of Freedom, which will recognize Freedom to Read Week, and discussions with Brooky Parks, Ellen Rajnisz, and Moira Marquis.
