Shea’s Performing Arts Center to Host First Annual WNY Unified College Auditions & College Fair

Calling all aspiring theatre and musical theatre students! Shea’s Performing Arts Center is proud to host the First Annual WNY Unified College Auditions and College Fair. The events, organized by Shea’s Arts Engagement and Education Department, offer exciting opportunities for high school students to learn more about and audition for several local colleges and universities, with theatre and musical theatre programs, at one location.  

On Friday, January 31st from 4-8pm attend the college fair to meet faculty, admissions counselors, and other students passionate about the arts. Schools participating in the college fair and the WNY Unified College Auditions include: Alfred University, Buffalo State University, D’Youville University, Niagara University, SUNY Fredonia, SUNY Niagara, and the University at Buffalo.    

On Saturday, February 1st at 10am students will have the opportunity to showcase their talent in front of multiple faculty and institution representatives, saving time and effort while opening doors to numerous educational opportunities. Whether your passion is acting, musical theatre, or design and production, this unified audition is your one-stop step toward pursuing a future in the performing arts. 

Both events are taking place at Shea’s Performing Arts Center Rehearsal Halls at 654 Main Street, Buffalo, NY 14202. Registration is required and there is a $25 fee for students to audition. To sign up and learn more about how to prepare for auditions, click here.
