Guy Torry

Guy Torry is a multi-talented comedian, actor, and writer who has successfully transitioned from stand-up to screen. A St. Louis native, he gained national attention on Def Comedy Jam, hosted the 52-city Kings of Comedy tour, and created “Phat Comedy Tuesdays,” a showcase for emerging talent at The Comedy Store that drew comedy A-listers. After starting as a production assistant on Martin, his quick wit led to writing gigs on shows like Moesha and Minor Adjustments. Torry has since starred in TV projects including The 70’s, Introducing Dorothy Dandridge, and The Strip, hosted BET’s Baller, and guest-starred on series such as The Shield, NYPD Blue, and X-Files. His film credits span comedies and dramas, including American History X, Pearl Harbor, Runaway Jury, Life, Stuck on You, and Don’t Say a Word. He continues to tour nationally as a stand-up while residing in Los Angeles.
