Wicked returns to Shea’s Buffalo Theatre

Wicked returns to Shea’s Buffalo Theatre for 24 spellbinding performances, running from Wednesday, November 12th to Sunday, November 30th, including a special performance schedule over Thanksgiving week.

Shea’s Performing Arts Center is also thrilled to announce a series of special activities celebrating the arrival of Broadway’s most popular musical. Take part in the excitement with these Wicked-themed events:

– Wicked For Good Food Drive: Shea’s is teaming up with FeedMore WNY to collect non-perishable food items. Donations will be accepted at all entrances to Shea’s Buffalo prior to each performance of Wicked and can also be dropped off throughout the day in the Shea’s Box Office.
– Turning Buffalo Emerald City Green: In coordination with Mayor Christopher Scanlon’s Buffalo LIT program, landmarks across Western New York, including the top of Buffalo City Hall, will be lit Emerald City Green from November 12th through November 14th, as Wicked flies into Buffalo.
– Wicked Night Out: Restaurants in and around Downtown Buffalo will be offering special promotions throughout the Wicked engagement.
– Wicked Talkback: Patrons attending the Wicked performance at 7:30pm on Wednesday, November 19th can stay for a post-show Q&A talkback session with Wicked company members.
– Wicked Family Night: From 5-6pm, prior to the 6pm performance on Sunday, November 23rd, families are invited to stop down the street at Shea’s 710 Theatre for free pre-show family activities including crafts, trivia and games led by Shea’s Arts Engagement and Education Team.
– Grateful and Green Giveaway: Every ticket buyer purchasing tickets between November 1-12 to a Wicked performances during Thanksgiving week (November 25-30) is entered to win a package of Wicked merchandise.
– Shop Wickedly Local: Western New Yorkers are encouraged to do their holiday shopping at local businesses, including those around Western New York designing their storefronts, food items, or retail displays around the Wicked theme.
