Janeane Garofalo is an acclaimed actress, comedian, writer, and activist who has been a fixture in American entertainment since her breakthrough in 1992. Known for her sharp wit and unapologetic honesty, she has starred in numerous beloved films including The Truth About Cats and Dogs, Reality Bites, Wet Hot American Summer, Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, The Cable Guy, and Ratatouille. On television, she earned an Emmy nomination for her role on The Larry Sanders Show, appeared on Saturday Night Live, and had memorable turns in 24, Mad About You, and The West Wing. A co-author of the best-selling Feel This Book with Ben Stiller, Garofalo also helped launch the progressive radio network Air America, where she hosted The Majority Report.
