Adele Givens

Adele Givens, often called the “Queen of Comedy,” is a Chicago-born comedian and actress who rose to prominence after winning the Crown Royal Comedy Competition in 1990. Known for her bold humor and iconic catchphrase “I am SUCH a #$%@#% Lady,” she has appeared on Def Comedy Jam, Showtime at the Apollo, Comedy Central Presents, and The Oprah Winfrey Show. Adele has also acted in popular TV series like Martin, Moesha, The Parkers, and The Hughleys, and in films including The Players Club and Beauty Shop. A Grammy-nominated performer from the Queens of Comedy tour, she has expanded her career into radio, writing, producing, and directing.
