Call for Volunteers: BUDC Temporary Intersection Redesign Project

Help install temporary street improvements at three Buffalo intersections this June as part of the BUDC Temporary Intersection Redesign Project – a community-driven project bringing new murals, painted crosswalks, street furniture, planters, and wayfinding to Michigan Ave., Marine + Commercial, and Roosevelt Plaza.

Volunteers will help paint, assemble, and arrange temporary installations that make these sites safer, livelier, and a little more Buffalo. Whether you’re handy with a paintbrush, good at moving things around, or just want to be part of something fun in your neighborhood, there’s a role for you. Come for an hour. Stay for the whole thing. Bring a friend.

Weekend 1: AFRICAN AMERICAN HERITAGE CORRIDOR & CANALSIDE
Michigan Avenue: Friday June 5th 9am-5pm, Saturday June 6th 9am-1pm
Marine + Commercial: Saturday June 6th 1pm-5pm, Sunday June 7th 9am-5pm
