Mess Call at Buffalo Naval Park

Friday and Saturday, July 17th and 18th is Mess Call at the Buffalo Naval Park! In partnership with the Military History Preservation Group, reenactors from across the United States will gather to bring USS The Sullivans and USS Little Rock to life.

World War II-era food will be prepared from the U.S. Navy cookbook in USS Little Rock’s galley with samples available to the public. The ship’s company will conduct general quarters and gunnery drills on USS The Sullivans. Visitors will also participate in hands-on activities, and learn about radio communications with the Radio Association of Western New York. This is an event history buffs and food fanatics alike will not want to miss!
