Buffalo Place Announces The Hiker Music Series at Roosevelt Plaza

Buffalo Place is bringing more live music to Downtown this fall with The Hiker Music Series at Roosevelt Plaza, a new series of free performances featuring local artists every Wednesday and Friday from 5pm to 7pm, from September 2nd through October 2nd. Presented by Buffalo Place with support from the Buffalo Urban Development Corporation, the series builds on the placemaking improvements introduced at Roosevelt Plaza earlier this summer and gives Downtown employees, residents and visitors another reason to spend time in the plaza.

We weren’t quite ready to say goodbye to outdoor live music Downtown! Buffalo’s music community is filled with incredibly talented people, so we called up some of our favorite musicians and longtime friends and asked them to join us at Roosevelt Plaza this fall. Meet us at The Hiker before your dinner reservation, theatre performance or Bisons game – or grab takeout from your favorite Downtown spot, bring it over to the plaza and stay awhile. Named for the landmark monument at Roosevelt Plaza, The Hiker Music Series will feature an eclectic lineup of local solo artists, duos and groups. All performances are free and open to the public.
