Melissa Ferrick

Melissa Ferrick, a genre- and gender-defying songwriter with a 30-year career, continues to break boundaries with raw, vulnerable storytelling. Now signed to Kill Rock Stars, Ferrick is re-recording her acclaimed album Everything I Need for its 25th anniversary, alongside releasing new tracks. A pioneer for queer artists in the 1990s, Ferrick also launched Drive Music Agency and teaches music business at Northeastern University. Classically trained and self-taught on guitar, she rose to fame after touring with Morrissey and has since released 18 albums, collaborated with major artists, and solidified her legacy as a fearless, independent voice in music.
