Lisa Ann Walter, best known today for her role as Melissa Schemmenti on the Emmy-nominated hit series Abbott Elementary, has built a diverse career across film, television, and comedy. She’s appeared in major films like The Parent Trap, Bruce Almighty, and War of the Worlds, and co-created and starred in several TV series, including the hit reality show Dance Your Ass Off. A seasoned stand-up comic and event host, Walter also authored a bestselling comedic memoir, The Best Thing About My Ass Is That It’s Behind Me. Beyond her professional success, she proudly balances her career with being a mother of four.
