Dexter and The Moonrocks started with a simple dream: make a living through music. What began as a short list of goals—write songs, book some tours, pay the bills—has since evolved into a full-blown breakout. A few years in, the band has gone from playing empty dive bars in Abilene to headlining major festivals and releasing chart-topping hits.

Blending the country and western roots of their small-town Texas upbringing with the grunge they fell in love with as teens, the band crafted a sound that’s as gritty as it is infectious. That signature mix has earned them a passionate fanbase and growing national recognition. The dream has grown too—they’re not just in it to get by anymore. Now, Dexter and The Moonrocks are aiming to be the best damn rock band in the world.
