City of Buffalo’s new Smart Curb initiative

The City of Buffalo’s new Smart Curb initiative is transforming how residents and visitors navigate Downtown, bringing real-time parking availability, safety alerts, and curb use information to key districts including the Medical Campus, Canalside, Chippewa, and Downtown core. The City is currently inviting the community to help shape the program’s next steps through public focus groups, where participants can learn more about the pilot, share feedback, and influence how smart curb technology is used throughout Buffalo. Those interested can sign up directly through the Smart Curb website. This is a great opportunity for Downtown businesses, commuters, and neighbors to get involved and help guide Buffalo’s smart-city future.
