The Annual 2020 Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, will be held on Sunday, March 15th at 2p in Downtown Buffalo. The goal of the event is to conduct a great family friendly, religious, patriotic, and civic event in Buffalo that honors Saint Patrick and displays the Irish contributions to our community and country.
The parade kicks off at Niagara Square and continues north on Delaware Avenue to North Street.
The United Irish American Association (UIAA) has elected Patrick D. McGuinness as the Grand Marshal of the 2020 Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. The day will start with Mass celebrated by chaplain Fr. David Richards at Saint Joseph’s Cathedral at 10:30a. Parade participants will line up near the McKinley Monument and proceed north on Delaware Avenue to North Street.
Deputy Marshals are selected by the Grand Marshal. Patrick has asked his wife Lois, his brother Paul McGuinness and his grandson T.J. (Timothy James) Messina to be deputies for this once in a lifetime honor. A large group of family and friends will also march the route. For more information, visit www.buffalostpatricksdayparade.com.
