American Adventure Days: A Soldier’s Life

Sunday, July 9th Buffalo Naval & Military Park teams up with Old Fort Niagara for a family day to learn about A Soldier’s Life. The event begins at 12 noon and is free and open-to-the-public. For more information, click here.

This event features a visit by a member of the fort staff, dressed in the military uniform of one of the fort’s historic garrisons. Using the uniform itself, as well as other items representative of a soldier’s personal equipment and belongings (knapsack, haversack, clothing, blankets, games, utensils, grooming supplies, etc.), the trials and joys of everyday life will be brought to life.
