Saturday, September 17th the Buffalo Public Library is hosting Bollywood Dance For All. The event begins at 12 noon and is free to attend. For more information, click here.
Students will have the opportunity to work with teaching artist, Gaitrie as she leads them through various dance forms from the Bollywood film industry. This includes Folk, Garba, Bhangra, and Indian Classical Dance Kathak. This program provides students with, low impact cardio, physical activity, and body awareness. Students will also be introduced to dance terminology (both in English and Hindi). They will also work in a group setting that will allow them to build strong connections with one another and with themselves.
