Francesco De Carlo

Francesco De Carlo is a Roman stand-up comedian, TV writer, and radio host whose career spans Italy and the international comedy scene. He released his Netflix special Cose di questo mondo in 2019, available in 190 countries, and has hosted major Italian shows such as Pour Parler, Data Comedy Show, and The Roast of Italy. He also starred in and created the Rai Tre series Tutta colpa della Brexit, wrote the book La mia Brexit, and voiced Mr. Shark in DreamWorks’ Bad Guys. A regular on RaiRadio2 and in sold-out Italian theatre tours, De Carlo has also built a global career, performing in English across 16 countries, including at the Edinburgh Fringe, JFL Montreal, and Johannesburg International Comedy Festival. His credits include appearances on BBC, Comedy Central, and opening for Matteo Lane at Carnegie Hall. Today, he is a regular at New York’s Comedy Cellar and has earned praise from Eddie Izzard for his sharp, cross-cultural comedy.
