Thursday, September 28th at 6pm, WNED Studios will host From Refugee to Comedy: An Evening with Thom Tran. Comedian and actor Thom Tran, a refugee from Vietnam, grew up in Buffalo. He served in the Army and was wounded in combat. During this one-man show, learn how Tran used comedy to combat his PTSD and how it propelled him to create his GIs of Comedy Tour, appearances in major motion pictures, and television shows. The event will also feature international music and ethnic food! All proceeds benefit the International Institute of Buffalo.
