Hands-on workshops in the Book Arts Studio At WNY Book Arts Center

Learn the ins & outs of letterpress printing! Peruse A WNYBAC collection of vintage metal & wood type, images (cuts) and ornaments to create a truly unique card or poster. Participants will learn the basics of hand setting type and building sound designs, paper prep & press set-up and, of course, printing on our Vandercook presses!
By participating in this Letterpress Basics Workshop, Members will gain the necessary skills to work in WNYBAC’s Open Studios & continue creating!
