ICTC Honor Vincent O’Neill on Opening Night of ‘Returning Home’

November 5, 2021 @ 7:30 am

The Irish Classical Theatre Company is thrilled to finally honor the legacy of Co-Founder and Artistic Director Emeritus Vincent O’Neill in-person on Opening Night of Returning Home on Friday, November 5th. The special event will welcome Patrons back to The Andrews Theatre to celebrate ICTC’s past, present, and future at 7:30pm Friday evenings and 2 pm Saturday afternoons, November 5th – November 13th.

Tickets are now on sale for this special event, which will pull back the curtain on ICTC’s 31st Season. Select actors from the casts of Waiting for Godot (Todd Benzin), Stage Kiss (Greg Howze, Christine Turturro), and The Onion Game (Johnny Barden, Kelly Meg Brennan), will work with their respective directors Kate LoConti Alcocer, Fortunato Pezzimenti, and Greg Natale on character development, acting exercises, and scene work, offering an inside look at the pre-production process for each show.

“We cannot wait to offer our belated thanks and praise to Vincent in-person for his incomparable contributions to the company,” said Kate LoConti Alcocer, ICTC’s Executive Artistic Director. “It will be a special evening to celebrate not only his legacy at ICTC, but the promise of what’s to come in the future.”

The event will also feature live music from Kate and Jayson Clark, and the debut of a special retrospective video from ICTC’s 2020-2021 Virtual Season. The video features the incredible work of Pan-American Film Division, who partnered with ICTC for Sea Marks and The Year of Magical Thinking.

In the interest of a safe and celebratory return to in-person performances, ICTC will be requiring all Patrons to wear masks at all times when visiting The Andrews Theatre, regardless of vaccination status. As previously announced, ICTC will also be requiring one of the following for all Audience members for its 31st Season*:
• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination (Excelsior Pass or Vaccination Card) OR
• Proof of Negative COVID-19 PCR Test within 72 hours of Performance Time

Additionally, ICTC’s policy will require proof of vaccination for all Staff, Actors, Creative Professionals, and Ushers. As always, ICTC will stay up to date on all recommendations and guidelines set forth by the CDC and the Erie County Health Department, communicating changes as necessary.

Tickets for Returning Home are $20 and can be purchased online or by phone. Subscriptions for the 31st Season are also available. For more information, visit www.irishclassical.com.
