Jackie Venson

Heralded by Rolling Stone as one of “Austin’s rising stars” and by Forbes as “an Austin legend in the making,” Jackie Venson has become one of Texas’s most commanding performers. The Austin native has shared the stage with legends like Gary Clark Jr., Melissa Etheridge, Alanis Morissette, and Lainey Wilson, and was featured in Rolling Stone’s Future of Music showcase at SXSW. Her breakthrough 2019 album Joy earned critical acclaim, and during the pandemic, she gained national attention through livestreams that landed her in Pollstar’s Top 10 and a slot on Austin City Limits. Venson continued to evolve her sound with albums like Love Transcends (2021), Evolution of Joy, Ghost in the Machine (2023), and her latest release, The Love Anthology (2025), blending blues, funk, jazz, and pop into a genre-defying signature style.
