Keb’ Mo’

With five GRAMMY Awards, 14 Blues Foundation Awards, and a career spanning nearly five decades, Keb’ Mo’ is a celebrated blues artist known for blending traditional roots music with a modern, genre-crossing style. Born in Compton, he began his career playing with Papa John Creach before emerging as a solo artist in 1994, going on to top the Billboard Blues Chart, collaborate with artists like Taj Mahal and Willie Nelson, perform at venues from Carnegie Hall to The White House, and compose for television. Beyond music, he has appeared in film and television, portrayed blues legends on screen, and dedicated significant efforts to philanthropy and arts education through programs like the Kennedy Center’s Turnaround Arts and the Playing For Change Foundation.
