Kishi Bashi w/ Oshima Brothers

Kishi Bashi, the Emmy-nominated singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist also known as Kaoru Ishibashi, will perform at Asbury Hall on Monday, May 12th as part of his RETROspect Tour, showcasing highlights from his acclaimed discography!

A virtuoso violinist and Berklee College of Music graduate, Kishi Bashi has collaborated with major symphonies and toured with artists like Regina Spektor and of Montreal. His music blends classical, pop, and cinematic storytelling, with albums like 151a, Sonderlust, Omoiyari, and his latest, Kantos (2024), earning critical praise. Kishi Bashi also explores themes of identity and history through film, notably with his documentary Omoiyari, now acquired by MTV and streaming on Paramount+.
