Hailing from Syracuse, Martin Sexton is a disciple of Classic Rock. Upon moving to Boston in the early 90s, he recorded In The Journey completely on his own in a friend’s attic. In true DIY fashion, he sold 20,000 copies out of his guitar case. Since then, he has connected with pop, rock and jam band audiences all the while developing a loyal fan base. His songs so timeless that he has seen such stages as The Newport Folk Festival, Bonnaroo, The New Orleans Jazz Fesrival to Carnegie Hall. The Los Angeles Times said, “Call him a soul shouter, a road poet, a folkie or a rocker and you wouldn’t be wrong.”
