Book Arts’ Meditation Saturdays: Visual Mindfulness Series seeks to immerse participants in a deep exploration of the artwork on view in our Gallery through meditation and discussion. Each meditation invites you to use your senses whether it be listening, looking, movement, or stillness.
There are many ways to enter into meditation other than traditional monastic-based practices. No previous experience with meditation is necessary for this unique and contemplative gathering.
Please note: This class welcomes anyone 14 years and above. Dress comfortably, and bring a shawl or yoga blanket if you tend to cool down when seated in stillness.
