Michael Gelen: Posters for the Irish Classical Theatre Company Opening Reception

Friday, November 8th, Book Arts Center will host an opening reception for “Michael Gelen, Posters for the Irish Classical Theatre Company” from 5pm-8pm. The show will be on display through December 7th. The opening reception and exhibition is free and open to the public.

WNY Book Arts is proud to present Michael Gelen, Posters for the Irish Classical Theatre Company. Michael Gelen is an illustrator, graphic designer and teacher living and working in Buffalo, New York. For the past thirty years, under the name inkwell Studios, he has been creating commissioned artwork for a wide range of clients, including advertising agencies, universities, publishers and cultural institutions.  In addition to his commissioned work, he creates fine art prints which he offers for sale at art festivals and online. His work has been featured in the Print Regional Design Annual and the Communication Arts Illustration and Design Annuals, and in 2012 he received the Alex Osborne Award for Creativity from the Advertising Club of Buffalo.
