New Planets w/ Strange Standard

Formed in 2019, New Planets is a New York-based band known for its futuristic blend of psychedelic funk and experimental dance music, described as “Talking Heads meets Gorillaz on Safari.” Led by Angelo Paradiso, with core members Alicia Aubin and Cha Cha, and a rotating cast of talented musicians, the group draws on global sounds and diverse influences. Members have collaborated with acts like Donna the Buffalo, John Brown’s Body, and Jazz is PHSH. Their debut album Blood Diamonds was released in October 2024 and featured on SiriusXM’s Best of 2024 Bunny Radio.
