To celebrate the start of hockey season, Pearl Street Grill & Brewery will debut a new festival, Hocktoberfest, on Thursday, October 5th! The festival will offer a full evening of music, special appearances, and hockey-themed activations that celebrate the great game of hockey.
Headlining Hocktoberfest will be the world’s only hockey-rock band, The Zambonis. The Zambonis, having played major events including the NHL All Star Game and the NCAA Frozen Four, will bring their high-energy hockey themed songs to Buffalo for the first time since 2003. The Zambonis will also perform a few Buffalo themed songs, including “Hockey Party (Buffalo Style)” that pays homage to Buffalo’s hockey tradition. Opening up for The Zambonis will be Buffalo’s Captain Tom and the Hooligans bringing their unique blend of Polka and party to Hocktoberfest.
“We are thrilled to celebrate the start of our favorite season of the year, hockey season,” stated Josh Ketry, COO of Pearl Street Companies. “Hocktoberfest will become an annual tradition in, what we believe, is the best hockey town in the country,” he added.
The event will be hosted in the rear of the Pearl Street Grill & Brewery with views of the stage from both the Pearl Street Grill & Brewery lot, as well as the tri-level “New Orleans” style patios. Doors open at 4pm with music starting at 6pm and The Zambonis hitting the stage at 8pm.
Advance tickets ($20) and a limited number of VIP tickets are now available at https://pearlstreetgrill.com/event/hocktoberfest/.
