Pure Glitter

Pure Glitter, a production by Second Generation Theatre, takes the Shea’s Smith Theatre stage this week. The fun, slice of life comedy about chosen family will run for multiple performances from Friday, May 1st through Sunday, May 17th.

Set in the Vibrant chaos of Stan and Tony’s 10th anniversary surprise party, this comedy dives into the lives of six unforgettable gay men – each with their own flair, flaws, and fabulousness. Stan, the curator in crisis, hosts a night meant to celebrate love, but the arrival of flamboyant Rance, nervous Blair, chill Dwight, wise-beyond-his-years Niko, and mediator Tony sparks a cascade of unexpected drama.

Pure Glitter is written by award-winning author, actor, and composer Douglas Lyons. The GLADD, NAACP, and Emmy nominated playwright will be in Buffalo for a pre-show discussion. Click here for full details.
