Tommy Prine’s debut album *This Far South*, released in June 2023, marks a deeply personal and powerful introduction, chronicling the loss, love, and growth that have shaped his 20s. Co-produced by Ruston Kelly and Gena Johnson, the album blends raw emotion with rich storytelling and musical range. To celebrate its one-year anniversary, a deluxe edition featuring reimagined tracks, a special guest, and a new song arrives June 21, 2024. Prine reflects on the transformative impact of releasing his debut, noting how it changed nearly every aspect of his life. Over the past year, he has toured extensively, opened for Jason Isbell and Tyler Childers, performed at major festivals, made his Grand Ole Opry debut, and was named an Amazon Music 2023 Breakthrough Artist to Watch. Influenced by artists ranging from Gillian Welch to Outkast, Prine developed a unique guitar style by mimicking his late father’s playing, channeling that legacy into introspective, emotionally resonant songwriting.
