VØYAGR w/ Frankie White & Stephen Babcock

November 26, 2025 @ 7:00 pm

VØYAGR is a Buffalo-based trio blending indie-folk and country elements into emotionally resonant songs rooted in themes of faith, loss, and human connection. Formed by AJ Jabaji, Rachel Josey, and John Morano, the band has steadily expanded its audience through releases like Think of You (2022), Canyon Winds (2023), and Go On & Get Out (2024). Their rise has earned them honors such as the 106.5 WYRK Country Riser award and All WNY’s Best Country and Folk/Americana Group, along with performances alongside artists including Scotty McCreery, Drew Baldridge, Brantley Gilbert, and Jason Aldean. Their debut full-length album, Born a Believer, arrives this fall.

Singer-songwriter Frankie White, raised in Colchester, Vermont, draws inspiration from the tender melancholy of artists like Ingrid Michaelson and Birdy, as well as ’90s alt-rock giants like Weezer and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Blending piano-driven emotional pop with alternative influences, she has crafted a sound that is distinctly her own, shaped by both introspective songwriting and the raw edge of her rock inspirations.

Stephen Babcock is an indie-pop artist shaped by his working-class roots in Upstate New York, where he began writing songs at 13. After releasing his debut Said & Done and touring nationally, he gained recognition for his earnest lyricism and dynamic live presence, leading to festival slots at NXNE, Musikfest, Music Is Art, and more. With acclaimed projects including Fiction (2018), Monroe (2021), When We Were Kids Ourselves (2022), and A Break in the Conversation (2024), Babcock has also opened for artists such as Ed Sheeran and William Hinson. Now based in Buffalo, he continues to evolve his sound—most recently with the 2025 single “Osaka”—while staying rooted in storytelling that finds meaning in everyday experience.
