DESCRIPTION:Eleven nonprofit organizations at the leading edge of social innovation. $20\,000 to impact Buffalo & Erie County for the next generation. Pitch 10 gives ten grassroots organizations a platform to share their innovative ideas for transforming our community. \nThursday\, October 3rd from 5p to 8p at Asbury Hall at Babeville\, guests will listen to how these ideas are transforming communities across Western New York. You vote to decide who wins $20\,000 in grants from Next Generation United. Your $25.00 ticket includes: Two drinks\, appetizers and two votes for the agencies you want to win up to $20\,000 \nThe 11 pitching organizations are:\nACCESS of WNY\, Accessible Academics\, 5 Loaves Farm\, The Tool Library\, For Every Little Handprint\, Rooted in Love\, The Salvation Army of Buffalo\, NY\, Rock Autism Music Festival\, Mason’s Mission Foundation\, Unite by Night\, and Arts Services Initiative of WNY. \nThis year there are 11 finalists. After the scoring process was complete\, the scoring committee discovered there was a perfect tie. After reviewing all options\, they decided the best way to keep the process fair and transparent was to allow both organizations the opportunity to pitch. Click here for information and tickets.
