National Borinqueneers Day recognizes the bravery\, service\, and sacrifice of the 65th Infantry Regiment\, a U.S. Army unit that consisted mostly of soldiers from Puerto Rico. They fought in World War I\, World War II\, and Korea\, and many WNY natives served in this unit. \nThis outdoor event is free and open to the public.
