Whether you are in treatment\, celebrating survivorship\, or a family member\, friend or loved one\, we hope you will join us in October and be part of our collective efforts to end breast cancer forever\,” said Elizabeth Webster\, Development Manager of Upstate New York at Susan G. Komen. \n“We welcome all the members of our breast cancer community honoring friends\, family and anyone who has been impacted by the disease\,” Webster said. “The MORE THAN PINK Walk is about making progress toward curing breast cancer and money raised from participants and through community sponsorships will give more individuals who have been impacted by the disease access to resources and the support they need now.” \nEvery month more than 2\,000 people from Western New York reach out to Susan G. Komen for breast cancer information\, patient navigation\, emotional support\, clinical trials\, and information about Komen’s Financial Assistance Program — which provides financial assistance to individuals going through treatment. \nThe MORE THAN PINK Walk will take place on Saturday\, October 1st.
