For more information and tickets\, click here. \nThis walking tour of Lafayette Square\, originally known as Court House Park\, reviews Buffalo’s anti-slavery period: the abolitionist lecturers who spoke at the Park\, including Frederick Douglass\, and the antislavery political conventions that took place there. \nThis tour meets at the northwest corner of Lafayette Square\, near the Hilton Garden Inn at 10 Lafayette Square. This tour is approximately 60-75 minutes in length. Metered parking is available on surrounding streets\, and the Adams Ramp is nearby at the corner of Washington and Eagle Streets. The Lafayette Square Station of the Metro Rail is a short distance away on Main Street.
