SUMMARY:Thursday & Main: Organ Fairchild
DESCRIPTION:Buffalo Place will produce the free outdoor summer series\, Thursday & Main\, weekly from June 8th through July 27th in Downtown Buffalo at Fountain Plaza. The series continues to pay homage to the venerable Buffalo Place-produced summer tradition\, Thursday at the Square. Thursday & Main is presented by M&T Bank. \nMasters of groovy tunes and juicy jams\, Organ Fairchild\, will perform at Fountain Plaza on July 20th. Joe Bellanti\, Corey Kertzie\, and Dave Ruch met in 1983 as members of Buffalo Grateful Dead cover band “Wild Knights\,” a group that still plays reunion shows to this day. But it wasn’t until early 2020 that they wrote their first original music together\, this time as three-piece instrumental organ trio/funky jam band Organ Fairchild. Highlights of the band’s short life to date include a three-set booking at 2023 Summer Camp Music Festival in Illinois\, voted NY’s top emerging band in 2021\, and Jambands.com Radio Charts Top 30 List. Supporting the evening of performance is Dale Toliver Trio. Toliver is a premier instrumental jazz guitarist\, composer\, and producer who performs standard jazz and a blend of original arrangements. Toliver performs often at the Colored Musicians Club & Jazz Museum weekly jazz series. \nThursday & Main is made possible with the generous support of our official sponsor family. The series is presented by M&T Bank and supported by Crowley Webb\, Big Ditch Brewing Company\, The Buffalo News\, Hyatt Regency Buffalo\, Iroquois Construction Services\, Katz Americas\, Labatt\, Lawley\, National Grid\, Rec Room\, Try-It Distributing\, and Uber. \nFor weekly updates and individual event listings\, visit our Thursday & Main Facebook page.
