DESCRIPTION:Buffalo Place will produce the free outdoor summer series\, Thursday & Main\, weekly from June 8th through July 27th in Downtown Buffalo at Fountain Plaza. The series continues to pay homage to the venerable Buffalo Place-produced summer tradition\, Thursday at the Square. Thursday & Main is presented by M&T Bank. \nLazlo Hollyfeld will close the 2023 season on July 27th. Their first release\, “Our Universe Is Feeding” is a raw\, one-take-recorded\, instrumental journey spanning melodic happiness to lethargic\, hypnotic rhythms. Lazlo Hollyfeld followed their “The Pacer EP” release with 2 long United States tours in the mid-2000’s\, and they have performed at South by Southwest. Their third release “Elimination\,” is an energy packed album\, with a 70’s rock feel\, while keeping the bands instrumental and harmonious sound intact. \nThe Damone Jackson Outfit will open the evening of performance. Jackson is highly regarded as one of the most virtuosic and dynamic drummers in Buffalo. The Damone Jackson Outcome is a genre defying outfit with amazing improvisational skills. They have garnered an impressive diverse and multi-generational fanbase\, and their Tuesday night residency at Central Park Grill a standing room only groovy experience. \nThursday & Main is made possible with the generous support of our official sponsor family.
