DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, August 9th from 5:30pm to 7:30pm\, The City of Buffalo and the Buffalo Urban Development Corporation (BUDC) will host a second Downtown Waterfront Improvement Plan Community Workshop at the Seneca One Auditorium. \nThe City of Buffalo has been working with public and private partners and the broader community to enhance connectivity and sense of place in Downtown\, along the waterfront\, and in between. This second workshop will include a presentation and interactive open house activities and will share key findings and takeaways from community and stakeholder engagement and analysis. \nThe City of Buffalo and BUDC will present draft vision\, guiding principles and recommendations for four Big Moves:\n1. Strengthening Connections to Neighborhoods and Downtown\n2. Creating a Welcoming Experience at Waterfront\n3. Filling the Gap at Erie Street\n4. For more information and tickets\, click here. \nAfter some folk/country directions on their 2021 EP\, Big Fall\, Philadelphia country band rock band Florry is back with their Dear Life debut\, the four song Sweet Guitar Solos. Whoever gave them those directions did a pretty good job because on their new EP they definitely seem like they’ve gotten to where they needed to be. \nCulled from various outtakes recorded between 2021 and 2022\, the band slips and slides from a four-piece lineup to a seven-piece band with two- three guitars\, fiddle\, pedal steel\, and vocal accompaniment. The band does a lot of things\, such as raggedy alt country\, cowpunk\, and country rock\, but mostly they have fun.
