DESCRIPTION:As the largest neighbor at Canalside\, the Buffalo Naval Park takes pride in keeping the neighborhood clean but it’s a big job and they need you! Friends of the Naval Park\, residents of the waterfront\, and individuals or families are invited to volunteer to help clean. \nCome by on Saturday\, April 20th from 9-11am at the Buffalo Naval Park. Meet at the Buffalo Naval Park’s Hangar Building between 8:45-9am with gloves\, garbage bags will be provided. Each volunteer that joins will receive one admission pass to the museum and ships. DESCRIPTION:Spring Sweep is Buffalo Niagara Waterkeeper’s largest event of the year and part of the annual Great Lakes CleanUP\, where they are joined by volunteers across the Great Lakes region in removing litter from our shorelines and protecting our waterways. \nPeople register for one of the 35+ cleanup sites around Western New York and help remove trash from our shorelines alongside friends\, family and community members.
