SUMMARY:Ghost Brothers of Darkland County
DESCRIPTION:A bluesy rock score by legend John Mellencamp and a claustrophobic\, refractured parable from the master of thriller Stephen King combine to create the spooky\, cautionary tale of Ghost Brothers of Darkland County. In an eerie cabin in the woods\, a young couple come across its caretaker\, the Troubador\, who reveals to them an almost Biblically violent story that took place in that very house\, about a set of brothers who are in love with the same woman and the ensuing rivalry that sparks between them. The young couple hearing this tale realize that this cabin’s past is certainly like their present. When the young man’s brother shows up to stake a claim for the woman he loves\, will they repeat the sins of the past – especially if it means staying alive? \nRoad Less Traveled Productions will be the first company to produce this version of Ghost Brothers of Darkland County\, on stage from Friday\, April 17th through Sunday\, May 17th. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.

SUMMARY:The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers w/ Part Time Genius & PA Line
DESCRIPTION:The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers began as friends getting together – a choir of 15 people who revived the old Gospel spirit with songs like “I Shall Not Be Moved\,” “12 Gates\,” and “In My Time of Dying.” They evolved into a band of five\, committed to the richness found in early 20th century recordings. They are influenced by past Gospel musicians such as The Dixie Hummingbirds\, Washington Phillips\, and Sister Rosetta Tharpe as well as a number of modern artists from all genres. \nThe Eagle Rock Gospel Singers preserve and electrify traditional music as they echo the stylings of blues\, folk\, country\, and Gospel music. They push these genres with modern vocal harmonies and pop music arrangements. They epitomize cathartic Americana roots music. \nSee The Eagle Rock Gospel Singers with Part Time Genius and PA Line at Buffalo Iron Works on Sunday\, May 17th! Click here to purchase tickets.
