A camera obscura is a darkened room or box with a lens that projects an image from outside the camera. It is important historically in the development of photography. Alex @alexcassetti will teach you to build a camera obscura out of any room that you have access to. With the camera students will photograph images on black and white photo paper along with documenting the camera that they have created. Images photographed in the camera obscura will be developed and scanned at the CEPA Labs. An online exhibit of the work will be on CEPA’s website. Photo to left was taken using a car as a camera!
