DESCRIPTION:In a scene that is consistently changing\, Bay Area native Danny Howland\, better known as SVDDEN DEATH has taken a spot at the forefront in this new age of dubstep. Finding inspiration through legends within bass such as Noisia\, 16BIT\, and Skrillex\, Danny has managed to formulate a hybrid of textured rhythms and sub-wrecking bass-lines that are of his own maniacal sound. \nFrom releasing his first EP through the well-known Never Say Die: Black Label to now becoming one of the largest independent acts in dance music\, his project continues to expand at unstoppable rates. Selling out world famous venues such as the Hollywood Palladium and Red Rocks Amphitheater. \nThe dropping of his heavy hitting VOYD alter ego was a movement within itself. The opening reception and exhibition is free and open to the public. \nWNY Book Arts is proud to present Michael Gelen\, Posters for the Irish Classical Theatre Company. Michael Gelen is an illustrator\, graphic designer and teacher living and working in Buffalo\, New York. For the past thirty years\, under the name inkwell Studios\, he has been creating commissioned artwork for a wide range of clients\, including advertising agencies\, universities\, publishers and cultural institutions.  In addition to his commissioned work\, he creates fine art prints which he offers for sale at art festivals and online. His work has been featured in the Print Regional Design Annual and the Communication Arts Illustration and Design Annuals\, and in 2012 he received the Alex Osborne Award for Creativity from the Advertising Club of Buffalo. \nClick here for complete details.
